How long do we keep personal data
SIM does not store your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. We use the following retention periods for the following (categories) of personal data:
- Being able to execute an agreement. SIM processes and stores the personal data for the purpose of performing the agreement (s). We keep this data as long as the customer has a contract with SIM. After a contract is no longer valid, the data is kept for 7 years in a (digital) archive for administrative reasons and legal regulations.
- Being able to carry out direct marketing activities. SIM processes and stores the personal data for the performance of direct marketing activities. We keep this data as long as the customer has a contract with SIM or has registered voluntarily via an opt-in functionality. After a contract is no longer valid, the data is stored in our (digital) archive for another 7 years. If no contract was present, the data will be deleted immediately at SIM after deregistration.
Sharing of personal data with third parties
SIM will not sell your information to third parties and will only provide it if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement or to comply with a legal obligation. We conclude a processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. SIM remains responsible for these processing operations.
