Kick-off Digital Accessibility project with the Joint Court of Justice CAS | BES
Digital accessibility is gaining the attention it deserves in the Dutch Caribbean — and the Joint Court of Justice is leading the way.
This week marked the official kick-off of a new collaboration between the Court, Accessibility Desk, and SIM Caribbean. The project focuses on embedding accessibility into the communication and user experience of the Court’s soon-to-be-launched website.
Our role — together with accessibility specialists from Accessibility Desk — is to ensure that the new platform and its content are inclusive from the start. That means thinking beyond compliance: we’re working toward a digital experience that is usable, understandable, and welcoming for all.
This makes the Joint Court of Justice the first organization in the Dutch Caribbean to structurally prioritize accessibility from the design phase onward — setting an important example for the region.
We’re proud to support this initiative and look forward to the impact it will have for all users, across all islands.
